My first upload - have fun!. This audio file contains two cylindrical objects colliding with each other repeatedly, which makes a loud bonk sound.

The creaking of metal boxcars and rails as a freight train passes through a crossing at a modest rate of speed. The crossing alarm bells ping constantly throughout.

I created these clicks as the ones that come stock in daws can be quite nervewrecking. For this i used the steinberg retrologue, soundtoys devilloc and a lot of filtering and eqing.

Uploaded 4 sounds for a blog post. All the credit goes to benboncan - chopping noise, tliedes - match noise, jace - boiling bubbles, and zacharymark920 - silverware. I only put them together in audacity for a blog post for a class. Under fair use of being a student.

Took a drum loop and pitched out 3 different layers of itself, one at half speed an octave down, one at quarter speed 2 octaves down, and one on top that starts out chopped up into separated transients and returns to full speed at the end. I originally made this to be 3 different levels of progression for a backing drum-loop, with the first section being the buildup, the second as the transition/windup, and the third as the breakdown.

Recorded a short drum and bass loops at 100-bpm using ableton live 9. 4 notes per bar played on bass in this order: g1 e1 g1 e1. This recording is designed for a mid-range frequency instrument, like a guitar, over the loop. I recorded this in my living room with mics in an x-pattern on the couch very close together, using a tascam dr-70d and behringer dyynamic microphones with patch cables for optimal volume. I recorded this at maximum gain on the tascam as two stereo files, then conjoined them to a 6-channel audio file properly and mixed the front two channels to a monaural center channel for added effect. The final result is what can be downloaded here. Tghe music in the background is part of the star trek: generations expanded complete score, and is coming from my computer to the rear of the recording, which lasts just over a minute in length, and the music was just background noise for testing purposes only. No copyright infringement was intended. Credit for the music goes to the now late jerry goldsmith and also dennis mccarthy, who is still alive. Quadruple finger snaps, recorded with a tlm 102. These are performed by alternately snapping with the ring and middle fingers of each hand. The snap samples are arranged from lowest spacing (all snaps happening at the same time) to highest (larger delay between individual finger snaps).
